1、 Treatment of vacuum pump waste oil with activated clay
After the vacuum pump stops, the waste oil can be discharged into the waste oil tank. There is a serpentine steam heater in the waste oil tank to remove the water in the waste oil by evaporation. The heating temperature is less than 110 ℃. If the temperature is higher than 110 ℃, the oil will fission. After the waste oil is heated, the viscosity of the oil will decrease and the sewage pump will settle naturally The oil is pumped out by an oil pump and sent to the purification tank. The purified grain is a cone-shaped tank with mixing device and installed on the upper part of the tank. The activated clay is added from the upper part of the tank. Under the action of stirring, the activated clay absorbs the impurities (dust and water) in the waste oil. After a period of stirring, it is put into the lower settling tank for clarification, and the clarified oil residue is from the bottom of the tank After discharge, the upper oil, turbid oil and oil pump are pumped out and sent to the oil pressure filter for pressure filtration. The purified vacuum pump oil after pressure filtration is sent to the high-level oil tank for storage, and then sent to the vacuum pump for use. The indirect steam heating pipe can be set or not in the high level tank according to the temperature in different areas. Discard the filtered oil residue. The method is simple and easy to operate. As long as the temperature can be controlled properly, the vacuum pump oil is not easy to deteriorate.
2、 Neutralization treatment of waste oil from vacuum pump with acid and alkali
After the pump is stopped, the waste oil enters the waste oil storage tank and settles naturally. After a period of time, the accumulated waste oil is sent to the evaporation tank by oil pump to evaporate the water. During evaporation, a small amount of sulfuric acid is usually added into the waste oil, and then heated and boiled, and stirred continuously. The evaporation tank is a tank with agitator, stirring for about 2 hours. As the waste oil continues to roll and the steam escapes, the original color is milky yellow or yellow The color of the milky white waste oil gradually changes from turbid to clear, bright and dark. Then the specific gravity of the oil is determined and compared with that of the new oil. If it is roughly the same, it can be considered that the evaporation is over, and then add a small amount of alkali to the evaporated oil until it is neutral.
The evaporated oil is poured into the purification tank, and then through the oil filter, the oil residue in the oil is removed, and the oil is pumped into the high-level tank of the purified oil for use. The waste oil consumption is supplemented by new oil.
The above two kinds of waste oil treatment methods are commonly used in the silicon heat magnesium smelting plant. After the waste oil is discharged in each shift, the purified oil is pumped into the vacuum pump for cyclic use to ensure the vacuum degree in the reduction process. The waste oil is treated in each shift.
